Glad summer is coming to an end. I love the fall. This was taken just before church a few months ago. Adrienne is enjoying First Grade and loves Mrs. Shelly Lowery (her teacher). Ella Grace loves her class and her Preschool teacher as well. Adrienne is giving soccer a whirl...really likes all the action...she can definitely hang with the boys. Ella Grace is happy to cheer her on from the side lines! The holidays are just around the corner...a wonderful time of year. All is well with the rest of us. God is good!

Mother's Day

We spent Mother's Day in Baton Rouge. Took a few pics before church. The dresses the girls are wearing... I MADE THEM!

Adrienne has always called her MawMaw...Ella Grace decided this weekend to call her Gradma...anyway...her she is with her grandbabies! Maddison, Adrienne, Caden and Ella Grace.

A Day with the Girls

After leaving Field Day at Rodes I took the girls to see Hannah Montana...what a great movie.

We had the theater to itself...must have been why the tickets cost so much!

What a deal! That's only $2.33 a kid!

And the day came to a close after we watched Adrienne at swim lessons.
Tracey...Baily was wonderful. Tasha...well I'm glad Jaycie came. (LOL)! (Inside joke-Jaycie and Adrienne are wild when teamed up together and cannot be referred to as wonderful). We had a blast. Thanks for letting them spend the day with us.

Bad Weather

OK...so I always want to get the family in the hall with blankets and pillows during bad weather but Jermey always talks me down. That wasn't the case earlier this week. When the news said their was a tornado on the ground 5 miles from downtown Haughton...he said "GET THE GIRLS IN THE HALL". We were blessed that we received no damage and the girls never budged!

Sick Day

With 101.4 fever, wild hair and all, just minutes after vomiting...Ella Grace took the opportunity to slip into Sissy's "Fancy Nancy" outfit. You just have to take those opportunitites whenever they arise. What Sissy doesn't know won't hurt her. Shhh!

You never know when it will be the last time...

We visited my grandfather just after Christmas this year. He died just a few weeks after our visit. We're so glad we made that trip. We had the best visit ever with Pa Neil and the girls talk about it still. As long as I have the memories in my heart...my loved ones are still with me.
