Silly Girls!

The only thing we're "EXPECTING" this month...is SANTA CLAUS! We stopped in the midst of our Sunday morning rush to snap this shot! Are they cheesin' or what?

The Movies...

Ella Grace's first movie was Madagascar 2. They loved it, especially the popcorn and candy. As you can see, Adrienne is flashing the photographer a "Mom, I'm trying to watch the movie" look.

How Do I Love Thee...

Let me count the ways! When the girls asked their Daddy if they could play with him...he didn't know what he'd been suckered into. You know he's a good DADDY to let his precious daughters do his hair (especially during a football game).

Kindegarten Here We Come...

She's so excited...she just can't hide it.

Low and behold...who's in the parking lot when we pull up at school "JAYCIE"...I was relieved, I was thinking we may need some help from an outside source.

But they showed us...took off to school without us! That was the best and worst part. They really didn't need us today.

Mrs. White Has "Class"

Adrienne settles right into her new seat in Mrs. White's class.

Daddy came along for the first day...

And of course Mommy did too!

Mrs. White shows Adrienne around. WE LOVE MRS. WHITE ALREADY!

Jeepers Creepers

You'd think I had 2 boys instead of 2 girls...just when I think I've gotten rid of all the bugs, snakes and varmints...they reappear when I least expect them. Wish I could take a liken to them like the girls...DOUBTFUL!

Say Cheese!

This morning before church (in the midst of the Sunday morning chaos), the girls posed for a picture.

Paci Fairy

Another milestone...the last thing "baby" to go away from our baby. When we left for South Louisiana we accidentally left Ella Grace's pacifier in her bed on her pillow (where it always stays). Opportunity knocked...the paci fairy came while we were gone and Ella found pixie dust in her bed along with money tied with ribbon. She's taking it better than ME.

God Made Us Sisters...

She is your mirror, shining back at you with a world of possibilities. She is your witness, who sees you at your worst and best, and loves you anyway. She is your partner in crime, your midnight companion, someone who knows when you are smiling, even in the dark. She is your teacher, your defense attorney, your personal press agent, even your shrink. Some days, she's the reason you wish you were an only child. ~Barbara Alpert

Sleep Over

The girls had their first sleep over at a friends house last weekend. They had so much fun at
Allie's house. Of course they are too young for a real sleepover so...I WENT WITH THEM! And I had a great time too. They swam, ate popcorn, played dress up, had manicures and pedicures, ate popcorn, watched movies, ate popcorn, made pizzas and...ate more popcorn. Thanks for letting us stay over Ms. Christy and Allie!

8:53 P.M.

What was going on at our house at 8:53 p.m. tonight (simultaneously). Me-sitting at the computer trying to post some pictures. Ella-in bed banging her sippy cup on the wall chipping paint screaming "I finissssssed". Jermey-standing at the back door holding a king snake. Adrienne-cramming 2 bikinis in her backpack for water day at school tomorrow...when asked why she needed 2, this was her sweet and innocent response "well mama-you see- Jaycie's dad won't let her wear the kind with the belly out so I'm gonna take one for her myself". THEY ARE ONLY 4 and they're already being sneaky! To Jaycie's defense...it is quite possible she's oblivious to the fact that Adrienne's bringing her a bikini for water day tomorrow.
